An iconic place of significance for the commemoration of 45 Uganda Martyrs’ who were killed between 1885-86 and its celebration venue every 3rd June. Since its canonization in 1964, all the sitting Popes have visited this basilica. It is open for visiting, prayers and other activities like shopping all year round.
